May 25: Sai Jinhua & the Brothels of Dashilar Walking Tour

May 25: 'Continuous Refle(a)ction' Exhibition
Riverside Art Museum hosts crossover exhibition Continuous Refle(a)ction, an art exhibit with a spotlight on environmental sustainability. Including collaborations between 34 artists from 18 countries, the "site-specific ecological system," made up of recycled materials, the exhibit showcases the relationship between man and nature.

May 25 & 26: Rye Music Festival

The Rye Music Festival is back for another round this month with notable headliners as Taiwanese superstars Jay Chou and Jolin Tsai, veteran shoegazers the Jesus and Mary Chain, as well as dance-rockers Fitz and the Tantrums, brother and sister folk duo Angus & Julia Stone, pop singer Beatrich, Taiwanese indie act Deca Joins and more. May 26: Midnight in Peking Walking Tour
Bespoke Beijing is organizing their famed walking tour, based on a best-selling murder mystery by author Paul French. In his 2012 Midnight in Peking, French enthralled readers with his take on the true story of Pamela Werner, a young woman who was murdered almost a century ago. Whether you’ve read the book or not, you can now relive the unsolved mystery in its original setting in an author-approved walking tour.
