The "Pacing the Void" exhibition features over 50 sculptures by artist Liang Hao, including two series of wooden sculptures and a newly commissioned series of plaster sculptures created for UCCA. This exhibition traces Liang Hao's sculptural creations over the past decade, presenting her dedicated exploration of the raw nature of materials, non-objective sculptural language, and its relationship with spatial contexts. It is also a tribute to her solitary artistic journey since the mid-1980s, marked by a disregard for the limitations of national borders, gender, and linear historical perspectives. Curated by UCCA's Zhang Nanzhao, "Pacing the Void" showcases Liang Hao's persistent and introspective artistic path.
