Film: La La Land

Feb 14: La La Land

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone have brought the musical back in this hit film that is expected to dominate this year's Academy Awards. Opens nationwide on February 14.

Film: Sing

Feb 17: Sing

The McConaissance gets animated as Matthew McConaughey voices an optimistic koala whose plans to save his theater through a singing contest become outsized due to a misprint in the advertized prize money. Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, John C. Reilly and Tori Kelly are among the star-studded cast guesting as outrageous animals with big dreams and bigger voices. Written and directed by music video veteran Garth Jennings, Sing features more than 60 classic songs, and an original track by Ariana Grande and Stevie Wonder. The film has already grossed over USD350 million worldwide. Opens nationwide on Feb 17.

Stream: 59th Annual Grammy Awards

59th Grammy Awards

The 'prestigious' music awards show went down on the weekend hosted by rising late night personality James Corden. While the Grammy's have justifiably been snickered at for their questionable choice in winners, the show always features dream musical pairings and this year was no different with live collaborations from The Weeknd and Daft Punk, Metallica and Lady Gaga, A Tribe Called Quest with Anderson.Paak, Busta Rhymes and Consequence, and The Time backing up Bruno Mars' tribute to Prince. While there's some controversy over the winner of Record of the Year (as usual), people who still don't know can watch the show. Streamable exclusively on QQ Video.
