Good news for all you show tune fans – The Pearl is happy to announce the permanent residency of RedBox Broadway Cabaret dinner theater every other Thursday night.
RedBox has already created quite the buzz with their unique approach at creating an immersive Cabaret-Broadway-Movie Show Tune Night – performed live, with actual stars from Chinese Broadway shows!
This is your chance to experience an intimate evening of entertainment with these all-stars of Shanghai’s musical theater scene.
We don’t want to give away all the secrets, but you can expect to enjoy a selection of hits, from classics like Phantom of the Opera, Chicago and Singing in the Rain, right up to modern tunes from Hamilton, Lala Land and The Greatest Showman.
The hits are performed live and complimented with professional costumes, lighting, direction and choreography to ensure an unforgettable experience of culture and passion.
A Pearl twist has also been added to the show now, with the fabulous Cocosanti is hosting and house songstress K-one adding to the allure.
Dinner theater is not complete without some fine food. Chef Lung of Hungry Lung's Kitchen fame will be creating some special morsels for a perfect pairing.
Doors and kitchen open at 6pm, with the show running from 7.30-9pm. And once is not enough: it is a rotating cast with an ever-changing and evolving list of songs. Every show is a unique experience!
