The exhibition showcases the works of students from the 2023 Chinese National Academy of Painting's Landscape (New Ink) Advanced Research Class and the 2023 Zou Ming Studio New Ink Research Class. Despite their diverse professional backgrounds and wide age range, these artists share a common passion for ink painting. Throughout their study and creation process, each artist has displayed unique characteristics, staying true to their inner feelings rather than conforming to others. From their works, we can see some already exhibiting distinctive individual styles, thoughtful reflections, and considerable depth. The variety in forms and unrestricted styles, alongside the richness of subjects, highlight their capabilities. While some pieces may appear immature, they represent the first steps of a journey that requires perseverance. This exhibition prompts us to reflect on the future of new ink painting with great anticipation and hope.
