Officially approved by China’s State Council on August 26, 2010, the Qianhai Cooperation Zone was established to serve as an experimental business zone for improved interaction between Chinese mainland and Hong Kong in the financial, logistics, and IT services sectors.
After the recent expansion, the area of Qianhai Cooperation Zone will increase by eight times from 15 sq km to 120 sq km. The newly expanded Qianhai Cooperation Zone covers the Shekou Area of the Guangdong Free Trade Zone.
To learn what policies will be implemented under the new 'Qianhai Plan', European Chamber has invited Qianhai officials for a policy update seminar and Q&A.
