The Miguel de Cervantes Library in Shanghai, in collaboration with the Consulate of Colombia in Shanghai, is organizing a conference on Gabriel García Márquez and his influence in Chinese literature. The conference will be conducted by researcher John Gualteros and will focus on Latin American magical realism and its connection to the transformation process of Tibetan novels in the 1980s, particularly in the works of Zhaxi Dawa.
