Vastine "Wink" Pettis, started playing Saxophone at the age of 11 and has been playing professionally since the age of 14. He moved to New York in 1987 where he joined Acid Jazz Vibraphonist Roy Ayers for a 2-year stint, traveling the world and recording two CDs with him, one with funk legend Rick James and one at the famed Ronnie Scotts Club in London. He has recorded a CD of Pink Lady songs with famous Japanese artists, toured and recorded with just about every top Hong Kong and Taiwan star you could think of including Jacky Cheung, Jacky Chan, Leslie Chung, Emil Chau, Harlem Yu, the list is endless. He was part of the house band for the  "I love the Voice" series with Li Jiang TV while also in the resident Band at the 100 century Music Room at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Pudong.
