A rare opportunity to take a master class with the legendary ceramist Richard Notkin, renowned for his Yixing teapot series and ceramic mural depicting the Hiroshima blast, The Last Syllable of Recorded Time.

Richard will guide students through an exploratory clay project in the morning session, and students will make a small sculpture. (Suitable for beginners and up). The afternoon session features a series of demonstrations by Richard, and will finish with an illustrated lecture featuring nearly 50 years of Richard’s work in ceramic sculptures and teapots.
