Shanghai Disney Resort is hosting its first-ever International Food & Drinks Fest between April and May this year. Guests will be able to try and taste many different flavor-filled cuisines and beverages from all around the world before taking part in a cooking class on Lakeshore Lawn or enjoying the festival's entertainment offerings throughout Disneytown.
There will be 13 different international food market booths to choose from. They will all be cooked with healthy and fresh ingredients as well as coming with a range of non-alcoholic drinks, beers, wines and cocktails from every corner of the globe.
At the cooking class, guests can watch local Disney's chefs and culinary experts cook up a store, share their passion for culinary techniques and provide useful cooking tips. For a more hands-on experience, there is the Disney Chef Studio where guests can learn from Disney's top chefs and learn how to make some of the resort's most popular haut cuisine, including Blue Summer Crab Salad and Lobster Risotto. Kids can join in on the action by learning how to make their own candy apples, Disney chocolate marshmallows and Minnie cranberry muffins. A free Chef Studio will commence several times a day from Monday to Friday and features a range of classes from dessert decoration and coffee demos to wine tasting and more. There will also be paid classes running through the weekend. Chef Donald will also be there to make a surprise visit throughout the week and weekend.
Throughout the 23 days of the festival, there will be a diverse range of live entertainment, music and activities on offer for guests. There will be an Open-Air Show held daily on the Disneytown stage and there will be over 20 special merchandise items on sale from the Delicious Collection, such as kitchenware, stationery and Mickey-shaped snack pins as a token of the time guests had at the festival.
A Standard Ticket includes admission into the festival and a complimentary beverage. Foodie Guests can choose to purchase a Sip and Savor Pass that includes admission, two drinks and three food items. For the cooking classes, there's a chance to purchase a Disney Chef Studio ticket that includes admission and studio classes on the weekends.
