GoEast is hosting a calligraphy workshop this March to celebrate our 6th birthday!
This time, we invited the award winning Chen Ziwen to give us a 20 min lecture about Chinese calligraphy, then help us practice this ancient and fun form of culture.
We will provide ink, rice paper, and Chinese brushes for you to write characters stroke by stroke. Even if you have zero knowledge about Chinese language, you can still try this form of art.
We are going to: have a 20 min lecture on what exactly is Chinese calligraphy, follow Chen’s instruction to write characters stroke by stroke and create your own work and save it as a souvenir!
