This show at On Stage brings together Braids, Shigeto, Nonku Phiri and Faded Ghost as part of a 'micro music festival for the rest of us' from promoters Spectacles of Sound.

Braids make a welcome return to China after packing out Yuyintang back in 2015. Having started out in more experimental territory, their most recent album had more of a pop sheen to it, with piano-driven tunes founded on skittering, almost drum 'n' bass-like beats.

With releases on Ghostly International, American producer Shigeto ploughs a similar sonic furrow to the likes of Tycho, serving up chilled out electronica laced with live drums. You might remember him from his set at The Shelter in 2011.

Joining them are Nonku Phiri - a South African artist specialising in brilliant, darkly soulful RnB - and Faded Ghost, one of enormously talented Shanghai-based singer, producer and DJ ChaCha's alter-egos. With these talents combined, this is a show you don't want to miss.
