This minimalist and elegant hotel is located in Hongqiao area, close to Fuyuan Zen Temple. The hotel is adopting many strategies to be more sustainable.

It has not used commercial varnishes in the entire building and has chosen negative oxygen ion mud for the interior walls. The negative ion concentration is up to 8,000-10,000 per cube centimeters so that customers can enjoy breathing like in the forest without leaving Shanghai.

The hotel's key idea is to keep it simple and in this way reduce energy consumption. Sustainable materials such as cotton or fabrics have been used for interior design. Customers cannot find any plastic in the hotel since it has put strong attention to craftsmanship, where the objects are realized by the local community of artisans. Even the small room card bags are sewed by housekeepers, leading to a total abandonment of the conventional paper card folders.

The restaurant in the hotel serves natural food, ingredients for which are purchased locally and seasonally. It has a big terrace full of plants where customers can enjoy yoga and meditation classes.
