Gaden is a Sichuanese restaurant and garden bar presented in French-styled ambiance. It subverted the established image of Sichuan cuisine as in its combining the food with French chic to forge a fresh new Sichuan restaurant that is both inherent and innovative.

Life, food and wine are integral and inseparable, which was ingeniously applied by Gaden in its coalescent of French chic into Sichuan dishes, hoping to create a brand that features both the oriental charm and French quintessential romance. In a fast paced city like Shanghai, if Gaden can ever let you slow down your pace and take time over a meal or little pieces in life, then it can truly produce ‘warmth’ in this metropolitan.

Here, you may experience French dining ambiance in great indolence and comfort while feast on authentic Sichuan cuisine displayed in exquisite French plates. Meaning of Gaden

Gaden bends itself to a relaxing environment, and flowers are the one can make people happy and feel wonderful. Thus, we applied floral factors on the 4th floor to create a garden terrace. The name ‘Gaden’ is inspired by the word ‘Garden’, a borrowing artistic conception of ‘Garden’ and ‘den’ which has a meaning of ‘cave’.

On the garden terrace, you may drop you daylong fatigue and burden, and be yourself. You can come alone, or with a group, but whatever the case, you may find your own cave here and enjoy the happiness from your tipsy of mood. Anyway, the moment that you make yourself a bit drunk is the most beautiful.
