As temperatures are expected to continue to roast us, we’ve picked a few select and indie coffee shops to explore as you avoid the heat.
Cafes are known to crank up the AC to encourage more purchases, so if you’re in desperate need to quickly cool down, these stylish shops will be nice for a break.
Gear up at Fei Coffee
If you have peculiar coffee requirements, Fei Coffee has all of the necessary equipment to meet your demands (pictured at the top). This is the second location we’ve seen in Sanya that offers a Japanese style of coffee, with a cat cafe named Friday Coffee being the first. To be honest, we prefer this location since we’ve got cat allergies.
Get your fix of desserts you miss from home such as red velvet or cheesecake. If you like the flavor, you can
pick up a bag of Fei’s signature Ethiopian grounds to take home.
Fei Coffee. Daily, 9am-6pm.
Bask in the Sun at Bloom Flower
Stay cool and sunny with this absolutely gorgeous location. It’s even got a room with glass ceilings!
On top of light sweets, summery teas, coffee and bouquets, Bloom Flower has parents and families in mind by providing a cute play location.
Tag us on Instagram @thats__sanya when you show off your most glamorous and playful moments.
Bloom Flower. Daily, 11am-10pm.
Be Bookish at Mo Coffee
Go for the coffee, stay for the books. This shop is highly praised for its decor, outside seating and delicious menu.
Guests of Mo Coffee can grab an afternoon set for two valued at RMB214 but discounted to RMB158, which includes two drinks, two appetizers and a main dish to share.
Mo Coffee. Daily, 9am-10pm.
Hang Around at Cafe & Lounge
Since Cafe & Lounge has both indoor and outdoor seating next to the sea, you could theoretically alternate between cold and hot for a full day of remote work.
Quite a few fruity drinks, desserts and dishes – from salads to pasta – are available here along with coffee and teas. Enjoy the sunset on the patio with a friend or two as Sanya’s night brings the relief you need.
Cafe & Lounge. Daily, 10am-10.30pm
