Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG) will increase the frequency of its Guangzhou–Dhaka route beginning July 25, 2025.
The airline will operate three flights per week, up from the current two.
The updated schedule includes flight BG366 departing Dhaka at 9.45pm every Monday, Thursday, and Friday, arriving in Guangzhou at 3.30am the next day.
The return flight, BG367, leaves Guangzhou at 4.30am every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, arriving in Dhaka at 6.25am local time.
The total flight duration is approximately four hours.
To mark the expansion, Biman has introduced a new on-site upgrade service at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
Passengers flying from Guangzhou to Dhaka can upgrade to business class at the airport check-in counter for just RMB750 per leg.
The route is served by Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which feature 12 business class seats.
Upgrades are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and must be processed in person at the airport.
Passengers who successfully upgrade will receive a number of exclusive benefits:
Increased baggage allowance: two checked bags totaling 45kg and one 10kg carry-on (up from 35kg and 7kg in economy)
Priority check-in to minimize waiting time
Access to airport VIP lounges for a more relaxed pre-flight experience
Enhanced in-flight meals served in business class (subject to availability)
The upgrade service is available only for passengers departing from Guangzhou to Dhaka, and only when business class seats are available.
Passengers can upgrade within the four-hour window before departure when check-in opens.
Upgrades are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Additional policies include:
No upgrade discounts for children
Passengers traveling with infants under two years old are ineligible
Frequent flyer points will be awarded according to the original economy class fare class
