Several buildings on Yue Hua Road, Yuexiu district have also been closed off.

Guangdong Television and Radio today reported that the city “is not ruling out an increase in COVID-19 numbers after a woman who visited what are now 22 possible exposure sites across Guangzhou tested positive for the virus on March 8.”

The confirmed case traveled between Panyu, Yuexiu, Liwan, Tianhe and Baiyun districts over a two day period from March 5-7.

The city has conducted over 300,000 nucleic acid tests of press time, one of which has returned positive.
