When Will South China Schools Open Again?

You may have seen posts circulating on WeChat regarding the opening date of Guangdong schools. Guangdong Provincial Department of Education debunked these rumors yesterday on their official WeChat, reiterating that no official start date has been set.

According to a WeChat post by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, the department is still assessing the situation, drafting epidemic prevention plans and creating timetables for students to return to school. Additionally, online classes have been implemented since March 2 for older students. 

Our best advice is to follow the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education’s official WeChat ID: gdsjyt for all the latest updates.
