November 21-23: Translunar Paradise
A mime production by famous British mime theater Ad Infinitum, Translunar Paradise takes you on a journey of life, death and enduring love. Telling the story of a man escaping reality after his wife’s death, it's a highly-acclaimed show that sold out during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2011.

November 21-25: Guangzhou International Outdoor Arts Festival
The Guangzhou International Outdoor Arts Festival will present a total of 10 performances at Huacheng Square this week, including drama, music, painting and cheerleading shows by international students.

November 24: Sofia Jannok
Sofia Jannok is a twice Grammy-nominated singer from Sweden who boasts rich onstage and producing experience. Starting out as a singer at the age of 11, Jannok, of the indigenous Sami people, was greatly influenced by her mysterious heritage, including Yoik – a traditional form of Sami song.

November 24: Tiny
“If you want to find the beauty of life on purpose, perhaps you will come across it. But if you drop the thought, perhaps you will see miracles of life.” So says the choreographer of Tiny, performed by the Guangdong Modern Dance Troup. Through the futuristic stage performance, Tiny asks audiences to ‘see’ their inner voice and make peace with themselves.

November 24-26: Finding Joy
A feisty lover of dance, Joy, 83, is losing her memory, while her grandson Danny is a rebellious young spark. Together, they maintain positivity in the face of challenges. Using humor to grapple with the issue of dementia, this UK production has received rave reviews by both press and the public.

November 25: Amber 'Vegetation Light-year' China Tour
Chinese post-rock band Amber has, thus far, released only one album, Drunk Star, which embodies the band's bright, graceful style. Come out this week to hear the group that's been called one of the most 'romantic' post-rock bands in China.

November 25-March 25: Mucha and the Others – Treasure of Art Nouveau
Czech artist Alphonse Mucha is one of the best in the realm of Art Nouveau, an international genre that focuses on decorative art. In addition to works by artists living in Mucha's time, this exhibition showcases a collection of Mucha’s finest works, varying from metal sculptures to exquisite furniture.

November 26: German Chamber 2017 Football Tournament

November 26: Jazz Night at Zhile Art Space
This gig hosted at Zhile Art Space will feature two jazz talents: Romain Baret, a French jazz guitarist who studied at the Music Conservatory of Chambéry and founded the Aquarium Orchestra, and trumpeter Florent Brique, who has performed at many an international art fest. Come out this Sunday night and catch these two live in Guangzhou!
