About 20 years ago, the earliest post rock bands appears in China, includingGodot、Prague、Wangwen、Zhaoze and younger ones such as 48V、Grace Latecomer、Hualun,etc., start to release albums and perform seriously. After that, some new post rock bands start to be known, likepentatonic、Summer Fades Away、Sparrow, and Amber, our protagonist today.
Amber has only one album, Drunk Star, released in 2011, for many audiences, Drunk Star is a representative work of Chinese post rock. Thanks for its bright tune, Amber is regarded as the most romantic and grace post rock band in China.
Amber hasn’t tour yet, but in a few days, it will become history. This band will perform in 12 cities in mid-east part of China, with a 90-minute show, as well as some new works haven’t been released yet. If you are interested in dreaming with our silent dreamer,don’t miss it.
