A total of 12 fire engines rushed to extinguish a fire this morning on Tianhe Lu, according to the Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Fire Service.
Authorities were alerted to the fire, which was on the ninth floor of the Bainaohui building, near Gangding, at 7.42am and by 8.17pm the blaze had been extinguished.
The Guangzhou City Public Security Fire Bureau issued a message at 8.44am this morning stating that no casualties resulted from the fire.
