On June 29, a free concert was held to celebrate the Fête De La Musique, also known as World Music Day, at Sofitel Dongguan Royal Lagoon. Three noted musicians from Hong Kong contributed to a vivid live show at the venue. Several classical and evergreen songs in different languages and genreswere played with acoustic guitar and the clarinet. With a free flow of cold beverages available, the audience enjoyed a cool and easy-goingsummer evening. At the end of the show, hotel general manager Danny J C Yeo made a toast to the celebration and the attendees.
