ONE CENTRAL Macau unveils a series of seven art sculptural installations entitled 'One Central Loves Macao' at the Waterfront Promenade and at designated locations inside the mall.
Located outdoors at the mall's entrance, the photogenic and interactive installation 'Love Macao' adorning the city's name with a heart was designed by renowned Macanese artist Tramy Lui, and is a contemporary icon celebrating the city's unique East-West heritage, and a must-visit for locals and tourists.
Inspired by the stained-glass artistry found across Macao's most beloved landmarks, from the Ruins of St. Paul's to the Lady of Sorrows Church, 'One Central Loves Macao' is a radiant installation that captures the spirit of a City where East meets West and heritage meets heart.
As the newest iconic tourist landmark in the city, Tramy Lui portrays her love of Macao through rainbow lights and colours.
Harnessing the dynamic qualities of light as it filters through a transparent medium reminiscent of stained glass, her artwork transforms according to different lighting conditions, inviting audiences to discover the historical and cultural charm of her home.
To celebrate the launch, ONE CENTRAL Macau will offer an array of exciting shopping rewards from April 28 to May 11, including limited-time shopping rebates of up to 10%, complimentary flight tickets to destinations throughout Asia, shopping and F&B vouchers.
The lighting ceremony of 'One Central Loves Macao' took place today (April 28) in a spectacular celebration attended by distinguished guests from the government, arts and culture sectors across Macao and Hong Kong.
