DongGuan Yuan Chonghuan Memorial Park Description

The Yuan Chonghuan Memorial Park is located in Shuinan Village, Shijie Town, Dongguan City, where Yuan Chonghuan was born and former residence. It covers an area of over 48000 square meters and was officially opened to the public in January 2003. In February 2010, it was under the management of the Dongguan Municipal Government and directly under the public welfare cultural institution of the Dongguan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Press and Publication. It is open to viewers for free. In November 2010, it was rated as a patriotic education base in Guangdong Province.

The Yuan Chonghuan Memorial Park is a commemorative themed museum based on Chonghuan's hometown, mainly dedicated to collecting, researching, and showcasing Yuan Chonghuan's culture and promoting Yuan Chonghuan's patriotic spirit. There are currently scenic spots in the park, such as the Yuan Chonghuan Stone Statue, the Yuan Supervisor Temple, the former residence, and the Three Realms Temple. The first thematic exhibition "Yuan Chonghuan, the First Generation Supervisor" is located in the Yuan Supervisor Temple in our garden. The comprehensive exhibition hall in the park holds exhibitions of high-quality cultural relics such as calligraphy and painting, ceramics, and cultural relics all year round, as well as various public welfare cultural activities and lectures.

At present, the memorial park is planning to build the Yuan Chonghuan Museum building, dedicated to exhibitions and historical and cultural research, and will become a national base for Yuan Chonghuan's historical and cultural research.

After years of integration and improvement, the cultural and tourism industry functions of Yuan Chonghuan Memorial Park have been continuously improved, and have received unanimous praise from people from all walks of life. With an average annual reception of about 800000 domestic visitors, it has become an important cultural venue and main destination in Dongguan.
