A wild boar made quite the entrance at a Hong Kong shopping mall on Sunday afternoon.
The 25-kilogram animal climbed into a ceiling at Heng Fa Chuen shopping mall in Chai Wan, on the eastern end of Hong Kong Island, and then fell through into the aptly named Kingkow children's clothing store.
Store clerks then closed up shop and alerted the authorities, with police officers soon arriving on the scene under instruction from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. The creature drew many an onlooker, who responded with more "aww..."s than "ahh!"s as the timorous beastie fumbled around the store and mauled a little boy mannequin.
On the same day, yet another another wild boar was also spotting invading urban Hong Kong in the New Territories, where he went for a dip in Shing Mun Valley Park in Tsuen Wan. Experts have said that they were both probably trying to escape the summer heat, and may have been disorientated by recent rainstorms in the region.
