Awesome kid burns RMB5,000 at ancestors' tomb, thinking it was spirit money

Some people just want to watch the world burn - albeit, not necessarily on purpose.

A 4-year-old kid in Hubei is our Hero of the Day after he got so excited burning spirit money with his great-grandparents that he saw no reason to stop at strictly the 'spirit' variety.

The boy's grandparents had bought him a backpack for his birthday, and placed RMB5,000 inside as an added present. (Who gives a 4-year-old RMB5,000?) They then proceeded to buy a heap of spirit money from a local store, and you can probably see where things are going from here.

As gramps and grandma burned some spirit money for their ancestors, they gave some to the child to burn as well. It was a freaking blast, and the kid was surprised to find even more 'spirit' money in his backpack, which he promptly burned as well.

The next day, grandma checked the boy's bag to see if he'd found his gift, only to realize that it wasn't there. When she asked him about it, the boy responded, "Didn't great-grandpa let me burn it?"

His ancestors are surely cashing in as we speak.
