9-year-old gets arm bitten off by bear in Henan park

A nine-year-old boy had his forearm bitten off by a caged bear at a park in Pingdingshan, Henan on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Henan Business Daily, the boy was exploring the riverside park unattended when he stuck his arm into the cramped bear enclosure and the inevitable ensued.

The boy's father later beat up the 40-year-old woman who rushed over to inform what had happened, under the apparent misapprehension that she had in fact bitten his arm off.

Between the cruel, irresponsible park authorities, the violent, negligent father, and foolish boy, it's safe to say the bear is the only one not at fault here.
