A Shanghai man was detained for five days after he was caught using a conspicuous video camera in a public bathhouse in Jiading District, Shanghai Daily reports.

The privacy infringer shopped online for the camera, which can record one hour long video clips, before putting it in a trash can in the locker room.

The camera was found by a women surnamed Ni who then informed the police of the Peeping Tom, who was subsequently arrested.
