Is this the narrowest toilet entrance in China?

In a thought provoking piece featured on its website, GB Times ponders whether this public toilet entrance in Chengdu, Sichuan province is the narrowest in China.

Measuring only 56 centimetres wide, the two entrances have long been a nuisance for the broad-shouldered and hat enthusiasts. According to the company that manages the Jinjiang district restroom, the toilets have been renovated several times, but the entrances have not been expanded due to the cost and effort involved.

However, CNS reports that the toilets have become a local phenomenon with residents in the neighbourhood continually baffled as to how no one has ever become stuck in the entrances.

But some have raised concerns that the narrow passageways could pose a safety risk in the event of a fire or a similar incident which would require evacuation.
