Half a vertical kilometer above the streets of Taipei, two groups of tourists from Chinese mainland got into a dust-up on February 23 as they queued up for the toilets in Taipei 101.
In video footage released yesterday, one man has already been knocked to the ground while security guards attempt to separate the two groups.
The scuffle was reportedly started between women from two different tour groups as they waited in line for the washrooms at the top of the famous skyscraper. After male members of each tour group got involved, things turned violent.
After the story broke on Apple Daily yesterday, however, most comments were surprisingly (if sarcastically) positive: "They knew that you should go to the toilet if you need to defecate or urinate," the top comment noted, "huge progress has already been achieved!"
"Now they just need to learn to queue up without cutting the line," another added.
