An explosion at a restaurant in Dongguan, Guangdong province Monday left one person dead and at least 23 injured.
According to the Financial Times, the explosion took place at a canteen attached to a Sinopec office and is believed to have been caused by a gas leak.
The explosion took place around 12pm, photos posted on social media showed glass and furniture scattered on the street outside by the blast from the fourth floor restaurant.
