After failing to buy a train ticket to be with his wife for Chinese New Year (Spring Festival) a riding coach in Chengdu, Sichuan province, took to his horse

Yao Shaoshuang has become something of an overnight sensation after photos and video of him were posted online. He told reporters that since this was the first time since their marriage that he and his wife were spending Spring Festival apart, he planned to surprise her and his mother-in-law by joining them, but was unable to buy a train ticket to his in-laws' hometown due to huge demand over the holidays

Unwilling to give up on his romantic gesture, Yao, who works as a riding coach, turned to one of his trusty steeds to get him home for the holidays
