Sleepwalking Xinjiang man awakes to find himself trapped on a 100 foot cliff

A 27 year old man from Turpan, Xinjiang autonomous region had to be rescued by firefighters after he woke up on the edge of a 30 metre (100 foot) cliff he'd climbed in his sleep.

Like the proverbial minaret scaling donkey, the man found that, although he'd climbed up the cliff while unconscious, he couldn't get back down. He was trapped for two days before rescue workers finally discovered him on October 20.

Perhaps he should take a lesson from Mike Birbiglia on how to turn sleepwalking into success
