Ever struggled with chopsticks? Of course you have. Even though Chinese locals make the intricate skill look simple, the technique doesn't come easy to everyone. Fear not, as a new eating utensil is on its way. A combination of chopsticks and a fork, there could only ever be one name for it – the 'Chork.'

Panda Express specializes in tailoring Chinese cuisine to American tastebuds. It's the largest Asian food chain in the United States, and now wants to strengthen that connection even further.

In a recent press release, the fast food chain hinted that they could soon be giving out chorks to customers. Watch out spork – there's a more impressive and innovative eating tool on the block.

The Chork Panda Express

Panda Express explains that the chorks are "a perfect way to illustrate the mashup of American and Chinese cultures – just like Panda Express."

The device lookes like a fork head at one end and chopsticks at the other end, enabling the experienced chopstick user to show off some skill while enabling those less talented to have a fork as a backup plan.

The restaurant said that the idea coincides with the release of a new dish: 'General Tso's Chicken':

"Chorks, like the new dish, are a unique utensil that elevate the way people experience their food. While Chorks are not currently available at Panda Express locations, there is a possibility that they will make their way into stores in the future..."

Lisa Jennings, West Coast Bureau Chief at Nation's Restaurant News, tweeted that chorks will be given away by Panda Express on November 10 (General Tso's birthday) along with this picture:

The invention isn't a new one, but Panda Express will be the first big chain to bring it into the mainstream dining world.

If you want to get ahead of the trend, or simply won't be near a Panda Express when the chorks are given out, you can order some on Amazon
