China's ruling elite has assembled in Beijing for the annual 'two sessions' – political meetings of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and National People’s Congress – which will run until March 14, in the case of the CPPCC, and March 16 for the NPC.
Aside from a few hot topics of discussion, the 2016 convention will likely be remembered less for its legislation and more for its uber-cool VR and 3D filming technology, fashionable security dogs and rampant selfie sticks. The photos below tell it all:
