A family of rats were found under a business class seat on a plane from Hong Kong to Xiamen by Chinese health inspectors, the Southeast Morning Post reports.

On September 30, health inspectors in Xiamen discovered 10 rat pups under the business class seat (no slumming it in economy for these rodents) during a routine inspection. The mother was located the following day.

Shanghai Daily reports that this is the highest number of rats ever discovered at one time by health inspectors. Officials say the rats did not pose a risk to the health of passengers, or the plane itself.
