On June 20, 2022, The St. Regis Qingdao announced the appointment of Mr. Ken Wang as the Director of Sales and Marketing. In his appointed role, Mr. Wang will be fully in charge of the daily operation and management of the Sales and Marketing team, taking the lead on crafting new strategies to increase hotel profits.
Since graduating from Blue Mountain International Hotel Management School of Australia with a Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management, Mr. Wang has had more than 16 years of work experience in several luxury hotels. He began his hospitality career in 2006 in The Renaissance TEDA Hotel & Convention Center as an Assistant Event Manager. He later took on several crucial management roles at The WESTIN Chaoyang, Beijing, The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin and The St. Regis Tianjin. Prior to this new appointment, he was the Acting Director of Operation in charge of Sales & Marketing in The Azure Qiantang Hotel, a Luxury Collection, Hangzhou.

I am looking forward to collaborating closely with all the hosts here to create a bespoke experience that continues to exceed guests' expectations," said Wang. With his extensive experience in sales and marketing, as well as strong analytical, planning, innovating and implementation skills, he will certainly lead the hotel into a new and exciting phase.
