OCT Hotels Win 12 Awards at 2019 That's Hospitality Awards

It was a night to remember: The food, the variety of beverages, the fantastic outfits and, of course the awards! One company in particular had a hell of an evening at Thursday night’s That’s Hospitality Awards: OCT Hotels.

Organized by HK Focus Media and held in Beijing, the August 29 awards ceremony saw the attendance of over 150 guests – including industry insiders and leaders, diplomats, media and That’s readers. At the event, OCT Hotels won a whopping 12 awards across a diverse range of categories, including the title of ‘Excellent Hotel Management,’ by virtue of its development scale, brand value and active practice of the ‘Hotel-Plus’ business model and product mix.

OCT’s 11 single hotels all received honors, winning the awards for ‘Business Hotel of the Year,’ ‘The Most Popular Hotel for Business Travelers,’ ‘Family-Friendly Hotel of the Year,’ ‘Outstanding Hotel Design,’ ‘Landmark Hotel of the Year,’ ‘Getaway Hotel of the Year,’ ‘Urban Resort Hotel of the Year’ and ‘Outstanding City View.’

The That’s Hospitality Awards were launched by HK Focus Media Group back in 2017 to celebrate the very best of China’s diverse and eclectic hospitality industry. With the strength of industry experts and media, and through numerous field visits and inspection, dozens of enterprises were selected and recognized for their outstanding performance and development of the hospitality industry.

In addition to the celebrated awards ceremony, HK Focus Media Group, in conjunction with Wuzhou Communication Publishing House, launched the 2019 edition of the English-language travel guide Explore China. The book, which was edited by That’s PRD’s Editor-in-Chief Matt Bossons, takes an in-depth dive into the vast and varied country that is China, exploring the country’s historical sites, natural scenery, rare delicacies, accommodation options and so, so much more.
