“Coming into Fashion: A Century of Photography at Condé Nast” has been getting a lot of buzz around Beijing during the past few weeks. And take it from us, this one’s pretty cool. The collection of some of Condé Nast’s amazing fashion photography (taken throughout the past century) is currently on display at Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA). Vogue, Vanity Fair and Glamour are just some of the prestigious magazines that are published by Condé Nast.
The collection includes works from more than 80 iconic photographers including Edward Steichen, Irving Penn, Helmut Newton and Mario Testino. And most of these prints have never been seen in China since being published. Each print was handpicked from the Condé Nast archives in New York, Paris, Milan and London. Since 2012, “Coming into Fashion” has traveled to twelve cities around the world, from Berlin to Tokyo. The Beijing exhibition ends on March 5, so make sure to check it out before it’s gone.
