July 6: DDC Grand Jam VII
DDC hosts the Grand Jam on the first and third Wednesday of every month. It doesn't matter whether you’re into jazz, punk, hip-hop or experimental music because all genres are welcome. If you’re interested in participating you can sign up before the event (wechat: jincanzh ). You’ll even get two drink vouchers. But if you just want to watch, that’s cool too.

July 6: Volume 2 of School Bar's "Rock Test"
Head over to School Bar tonight (Wednesday) for the second event in their "Rock Test" series. The goal is to give fledgling bands the opportunity to show what they’ve got on stage. The lineup includes Morbid Goats (alt-rock), Nigou (indie rock), The Circus (classic rock) and Duff Beer (punk/ska). All four bands have really started making a name for themselves in recent months, so it’s bound to be a good show.

July 7: INXU @ DDC
INXU will be playing a farewell show on Thursday at DDC. The band’s drummer, Roman Kramer, is moving back to his home country of Germany. The one-of-a-kind alt rock group will be joined by Perpetual Motion Machine.

July 9: Lala Hsu 2016 Beijing Concert
The Taiwanese singer and songwriter is heading to Beijing this Saturday. The accomplished artist won the Best New Artist award at the 2010 Golden Melody Awards and was the champion of Taiwan's prestigious singing competition, One Million Star. Tickets are available here.

July 10: Mr. Miss @ School Bar
The pop-jazz trio Mr. Miss will be making a rare appearance at School Bar this Sunday. The band just wrapped up a successful China tour. They’ll be playing their classics as well as some brand new songs. Xiao Pu and Zhao Ye will also be performing.
