May 13: Housing Featuring Marshall Jefferson
Chicago house veteran Marshall Jefferson came into his prime in the 1980s, just as the Windy City started to redefine the genre. Sure, everyone over 40 seems to be described as the father or godfather of house these days, but this guy has a better claim than most. And he’s headed to Migas on Friday, May 13.

May 13: Gareth Emery @ Spark
EDM legend, Gareth Emery, is slated to return to Beijing on Friday. Spark will be hosting the UK native as part of their Electric Wonderland series. Emery regularly headlines the main stages of Ultra, EDC, Tomorrowland, ASOT, Coachella, and much more. He recently released his latest album, 100 Reasons to Live, which as he puts it is all about "loving and appreciating life." What better way to celebrate Friday the 13th than dancing the night away to Emery’s electro-house, progressive, trance beats.

May 13-15: Great Wall Run Festival
The brand new music and sporting event will be held at the Simatai Great Wall and Beijing W Town. The one-of-a-kind event fuses the spirit of a music festival with a five-kilometer race. Headliners include Deorro, Frontliner, Pendulum and Code Black. Tickets cost RMB350 (early bird), RMB450 (early bird package), RMB600 (VIP) and RMB100 for the bus.
