Rhonda (post-rock, post-punk)
https://v.qq.com/x/page/g0383vv5kf7.html
Two years into their collaboration, they are at an impasse in terms of their style: Post-rock? Post-punk? Post-hardcore? Post-metal? Post-anything? As it stands, who gives a fuck about genre anyway? This instrumental three-piece lets their guitars, bass and drums do the talking for them. Come if you want to see a band who draws on influences from Mogwai and Sonic Youth to Tool and Fugazi. What more needs to be said?

Lonely Leary (post-punk)
One of 2016’s breakout success, post punk renegades Lonely Leary. Lonely Leary is a dynamic rock trio from Beijing. They incorporate fast drums, muddy baselines and rough guitar noise in a pursuit to create a relatively violent sound. They will release their first album, which’ll be released on Maybe Mars late this year, with renowned producer and musician Yang Haisong.

Swinging Barbarellas (garage rock)
Swinging Barbarellas are a garage rock band trying to add their scrappy Nuggets-style charm to the Beijing scene. We'd like to namecheck The Sonics, The Cramps, New Bomb Turks, and Thee Oh Sees because we go for that general vibe. We're way fucking fun.
