DAGADANA, for eight years now, have triumphantly merged elements of Ukrainian and Polish culture through jazz, electronic and world music, even contemporary music, children toys sounds, roots music found amongst their families and friends, at ethnic music workshops, as well as on their friends’ and families’ bookshelves.
Their philosophy from the very beginning is to meet and exchange the music and art experience all around the world as well as being the ambassadors of Polish and Ukrainian culture. That’s why you can hear their cooperation on their records or enjoy the concerts with local musicians in different parts of the world. The audience should come with some children’s toys that makes music. We will make a great joyful orchestra together.

Their debut record Maleńka won massive acclaim from the media and from cultural opinion-makers, and it was championed by Polish Radio 3. Dagadana were nominated for the Fryderyk (Polish Grammy Award) 2011 award in two categories: World Music Album of the Year (won) and Phonografic Debut of the Year.
Their second album Dlaczego Nie was nominated for the 2012 Fryderyk in the World Music category.

The third record List do Ciebie (with poetry by Janusz Różewicz) was warmly praised in both musical and literary circles.
The Meridian 68 (2016) album recorded with AIYS Song and Hasibagen from Beijing hit #8 at prestigious World Music Charts Europe and #14 at Transglobal World Music Charts, and is nominated to Fryderyk in “Roots Album of the Year” category. This album will be also released in China by 13-Month Culture Communication in 2017.
