Minua was formed by two German students and a friend from Iceland while attending music school in Switzerland. While still young it is not proper to label Minua a student band, however, as they have since toured throughout Europe, played music festivals, and released their album "In Passing" June 23, 2015. With two guitarists in this trio and a sound reminiscent of Mono, don't miss Minua for the Beijing stop of their current China tour.

“The instrumentation of Minua is unique and their sound evokes a mood that one can easily get lost in. Their use of balance, space, and almost constant melodic improvising is intriguing as well very beautiful. What I admire most about Minua is their patience to allow their songs and compositions to unfold in very flowing rubato feel but at the same time holding the listener captive with an almost imperceptible itensity."
(quote from Munua's website)

Minua is:
Kristinn Smári Kristinsson, guitar
Luca Aaron, guitar
Fabian Willmann, bass clarinet
