Fu Baoshi was a household name all through the first half of the 20th century in China, and for good reason – he singlehandedly modernized the Chinese traditional landscape painting by introducing new inking methods and dotting techniques. Now, Beijingers can get the chance to learn more about this influential figure in the dedicated exhibition titled ‘Qi Ming Wei Xin – Fu Baoshi’s Art World’ at the Tianjin Museum.
