The highly anticipated Rebel FC 7: Fight for Honor (Rebel Fighting Championship) will kick off in Shanghai on April 29. With only a few days to go, fighters from around the world have now gathered in the city to prepare for what is sure to be an impressive showdown.

To give the public a better picture of the fighters, Rebel FC organized an open training session three days prior to the official contest. Fighters included eight best-in-class Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters, including local stars like Ayideng Jumayi, Liu Lianjie and Tang Kai as well as global fighters such as Rodolfo Marques Diniz, Shuhei Sakano, Kazumasa Majima, Carlo Laurel and Mario Sismundo. Held at Pure Fitness within iapm Mall in the heart of Shanghai, the event attracted media and guests alike.

The open training day was a sight to be seen. The crowd watched as fighters took the stage and sparred with their partners. Although what was on display was merely routine training, the fighters took the event very seriously. As always, every fighter brought their A game and demonstrated their impressive fighting skills and diverse fighting styles. Without a doubt, Rebel FC 7: Fight for Honor will present spectators with an intense and exciting competition.

The first fighter to meet the audience during open training day was Mario Sismundo. Mentored by renowned legendary Filipino fighter Manny Pacquiao, Mario attacks nimbly and excels at evading opponents.

Mario was followed by his opponent, Chinese fighter Tang Kai. In addition to his charm, his fighting style is also a crowd pleaser. With unpredictable footwork, Tang also possesses comprehensive striking techniques.

Next to take the stage was Filipino fighter Carlo Laurel. Proficient in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, the confident fighter is adept at overpowering his opponents with his skillful grappling techniques.

Chinese star fighter Liu Lianjie entered the ring right after, and instantly caught the attention of the entire crowd. Having trained at Shaolin Temple for 10 years, Liu holds an incredible record of 16 victories out of 20 fights.

Next up was Japanese high-level fighter Kazumasa Majima, a judo black belt with overwhelming ground-fighting skills. Kazumasa became a professional MMA fighter when he was only 17.

Brazilian fighter Rodolfo Marques Diniz was next. Combining Muay Thai with Brazilian jiu-jitsu and boxing, Rodolfo fights with his own style and challenges his opponents with his exquisite offensive techniques.

Up next was Shuhei Sakano, a young and energetic Japanese fighter. Skillful in judo, Shuhei tends to take the game to the ground and consistently seals the deal with his signature style that is both delicate and versatile.

China’s number one ranked bantam weight and reigning Rebel FC champion Ayideng Jumayi (aka Kazakh Eagle) was the last to appear. Renowned for his sheer strength and offense, Ayideng previously won a golden belt at Rebel FC 6: China vs the World in Shenzhen.
