Cake lovers in Shenzhen now have a second location of Lady M to indulge themselves and eat delicious desserts.

On Saturday, September 28, the famous handmade confection brand, Lady M, opened up shop in Shenzhen’s Coco Park. The opening took place at 1pm sharp as three other China locations celebrated their opening ceremonies at the same time – two Lady M shops in Shanghai and another in Guangzhou’s Taikoo Hui.

Lady M’s latest Shenzhen opening unveils a sleek minimalist design with milky white flooring, walls and ceiling.

Perhaps their most notable offering is the mille crepe cake, featuring layers upon layers of paper-thin handmade crepes lathered with pastry cream. One colleague at That’s who tried the popular dessert at one of their New York locations described it simply as “delish.” With a variety of other artisanal cakes on display, you may want to swing by with that friend who loves cake (we all know at least one).

Lady M opened its first shop in New York City’s Upper East Side in 2004. The founder, Ken Romaniszyn, created the brand, which was inspired by both French pastry and Japanese confection, culminating into the international cake boutique. With over 38 locations in the US, China and Singapore, the brand is considered popular among millennials and is typically positioned in each cities’ prominent shopping areas.
