Japan’s cherry blossom season is arriving soon. In Okinawa, numerous flowers have bloomed quietly, to the enjoyment of tourists from all over the world. If you are fond of Japanese culture and cuisine but don't have time to visit, you can still enjoy a taste of the country with some traditional sweets made of matcha at the following places.

The matcha mille crepe cake is a bestseller in the shop, enjoying fame for both its beauty and taste. Green tea crepes stuck together with fresh cream and sprinkled with matcha powder will definitely satisfy Japanese dessert fans.

Ben Bakery is famous for the richly-flavored roll cakes once praised by the host of A Bite of China. The shop persists in producing handmade cakes without additives. The matcha roll cake combines the slight bitterness of authentic matcha powder with the sweetness of sponge cake. Although it contains lots of cream, it’s not too rich. Instead, the soft cream offers the customers a smooth, light bite. This Western-style dessert with traditional Japanese flavors is definitely worth trying.
