If you're feeling nonconformist, try out this networking event, described as 'the opposite of the normal entrepreneur meet-up.' April 7: Dough-boy at B10 Live
Doughboy is a singer, rapper, producer and composer hailing from Hong Kong. He's performed all around Asia, collaborating with local artists and composing the odd award-winning film theme song ('The Way We Dance' won a Hong Kong Film Award). Tickets are on sale for his act this Friday, when he'll perform tracks from his new album Chinglish.

April 7: Zuckermann at Club Sector
Ralph Zuckermann, who goes by the stage name 'Zuckermann,' makes 'slightly experimental House tracks' and techno tracks. One of the songs from his full-length album was recognized as 'video of the month' in Groove, a German magazine, leading to some high-profile interviews and request for a solo show.

April 8: Harp Recital
Xavier de Maistre is part of a group of solo musicians who are redefining what it's possible to do with their instruments. In 1998, he won first place at the International Harp Competition in Bloomington, Indiana. Since then he's joined the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and is now touring solo. Book tickets here.

April 8: Boxing at B10 Live
Three pairs of brothers hailing from the Paiwan tribe of Taiwan came together to form the indie group Boxing. Influences include both their native language and culture, plus their former careers as boxers. After being discovered by Taiwanese superstar A-Mei, they went on to win the 'best new artist' award at the 26th Golden Melody Awards in 2015. Buy tickets here.

April 8: Krafty Kuts at Pepper

April 9: SOW Instrumental Rock Show
Instrumental rock band SOW was originally founded in Kyoto. They have made a name for themselves with intricate riffs on the bass and guitar, backed by Takahiro Yamashita on piano. Both articulate and aggressive, their sound is truly unique. Buy tickets here.
