Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport became the setting for unruly scenes over the weekend after adverse weather conditions forced the delays of many flights.
On Saturday, May 16, storms in the Pearl RIver Delta region continued to affect flight out of Shenzhen's airport, which last Tuesday was the site of a rare tornado.
Passengers whose flights experienced delays turned their frustration on airport staff, who were barraged with food and various objects.

"I don't know if any of you have ever seen," the story's top comment read, "but in foreign most people just sit quietly and read a book when their flight gets delayed, very few people make a scene... I'm not trying to disparage our people, just making a comparison. There's a lot we have to learn."
