Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport became the setting for unruly scenes over the weekend after adverse weather conditions forced the delays of many flights.

On Saturday, May 16, storms in the Pearl RIver Delta region continued to affect flight out of Shenzhen's airport, which last Tuesday was the site of a rare tornado.

Passengers whose flights experienced delays turned their frustration on airport staff, who were barraged with food and various objects.
